In order to print high quality barcodes you will need thermal transfer ribbon if you have a thermal transfer printer. Wax/Resin Ribbons
Are more versatile that wax ribbons and tend to work best on paper labels and matte synthetics that require a little more durability. A mixture/hybrid of wax/resin in a ribbon offers exceptional print quality and scratch resistance/smudge proof.
